Menus for Corporate Catering

In life, there are many events and happenings that we can celebrate together with our family and loved ones. It could be a birthday party, celebrating a graduation, a couple's anniversary, or maybe just a simple get together. Any kind of celebration, specially corporate events, of course, needs a good menu. It may be a good idea to seek services from caterers who can offer the best menu that has different cuisines like pastas, vegetables and even halal. Many caterers here in Singapore provide a variety of menu that can satisfy almost everyone in your event. But choosing the right menu and caterer may not only satisfy everyone present in the occasion, but can also help you save a lot of money from their service while providing excellent catering service at the same time.

Of course, most catering menus are flexible and normally you get to work with their staff or manager to decide which dishes and beverages will be in it. There should be menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sets for each meal of the day must essentially be different. For breakfast, it would be a lot more cheaper to get a pre packaged menu since they already come with different meal combination suited for a morning meal. Inclusion of coffee is a must specially for those events that have a lot of guests that are adult, or simply coffee lovers. As for lunch, there can be many options to choose from. Some go with a la carte sandwiches together with some sides, some go with a full buffet that also includes vegetarian meals. Choosing the menu for lunch would mainly depend on how much time your guests have to eat. For dinner, you might have to choose from buffet or plated dinners. Plated meals take an awful lot of time to prepare. The caterers must start preparing approximately 2 hours prior dinner. A lot of cleaning and serving will be done here, meaning this is a staff related work intensive method. But for buffet, not only it requires less time for it to be fully prepared, it also requires less work for the caterers and is the best choice for serving either lunch or dinner, specially for a corporate event. The time of preparation needed for the meals would also depend upon the headcount. So the number of guests that will be present on the event must be provided to the caterers ahead of time.

When building up a menu, one must consider their guests preferences and special requests. This normally includes food allergies, where a certain number of guest is allergic to a certain food and may not be able to enjoy the event. It is important to ask the guests if they have any food allergies to avoid any allergy related problems to arise. Diet is also something to consider, specially if some guests have problems with their health that restricts them from eating foods that may worsen their condition. Lastly, for people with religious restrictions, specially for religions who can not eat non halal processed foods. These things must be discussed and carefully planned with your caterer ahead of time.
